| The mandate given to the youth groups by the Parish Council are the following: 
The spiritual formation of the youth in the parish and in the groupsTo take part in activities required of them by the parish associations, groups and committeesTo provide a link with the youth of the Consolata Shrine and other parishesTo provide parishioners with social activitiesTo provide a means of modern communications to interact with other youth on matters of religious encouragement In addition to this, the groups exist to: 
Provide the parish youth a means by which they can know, understand and appreciate the Catholic FaithStrengthen Christian life and missionary formationIncrease the youth’s universal missionary spiritTo  foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young personTo draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith communityTo empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today StructureThe parish has grouped the youth into two groups: 
Senior Youth: this consists of young members of the parish from the age of 16 to 20 
Junior Youth: this consists of young members of the parish from the age of 12 to 15 LeadershipSenior Youth Leaders:
